Stikmen was in a very difficult situation, and you just have to help him. You should try and find a way out of this difficult situation. He alone must fight the zombies and all sorts of other creatures that he will come across on the road. Your main task is not to injure yourself and shoot straight for these creatures to be wiped off the face of the earth!
