During the game you will fight with different bosses, but in order to do battle with them, you do not need to pass the level. You go straight to the final showdown with a very strong opponent. If you can beat the first boss, then you can spend upgrading your ship, and then you expect the next battle with the enemy. And so it will continue for as long as all the enemies are defeated.
