On a rainy evening, Jack knocked on the window of the woodcutter. He was resting in front of the fireplace, enjoying the warmth, and then he had to protrude out into the cold. A worn out traveler was barely able to stand under the door. He told the story of how his wolves attacked his friends. He managed to escape, and the rest were surrounded by a flock of predators. Poor guy asks Jack to help release his comrades.
